FAMILY INTERVENTIONS

Drug and alcohol addiction ruins lives. Not only does it ruin the life of the addicted, but also the lives of those who love them. The addict has a disease and that disease is addiction, which causes suffering for not only themselves but for close friends and family. An intervention can be an extremely effective way to begin to help them start on the path of addiction recovery. I can help you to help them get back on track to being a whole and integrated person again, eventually restoring the family to function in a healthy and positive way. Through loving but firm guidance I will lead you and your loved one through a tried and true process, including sharing your feelings through letters and testimonials, giving you the necessary tools to help your loved one in a compassionate, effective and meaningful way. This begins to bring awareness to the addict, forcing them to recognize how and whom they've hurt. Without help and guidance they are unlikely to stop their addiction. It will completely destroy their life. It may eventually kill them. In addition to the actual day of intervention and pre-intervention assessment, I will personally accompany the individual to a facility where they will begin the healing process.

EXECUTIVE INTERVENTIONS

Do you have an employee who is coming in late, missing meetings, not acting like themselves? They could be wrestling with an addiction and their mistakes could be costing you. Letting an important person go can be timely and expensive. Often times their track record has been stellar and perhaps in the past they have been integral to the success of your company. In many instances it benefits everyone involved to work to correct the problem instead of firing it. This is where I step in. Similar to an intervention for a family member, those that have been directly affected and have suffered from the individual's addiction come together to confront them in a direct and firm, yet loving and compassionate meeting. Through testimonials and personal experiences the addict must come face to face with how their behavior has affected the people around them. I will help to guide you through this process of intervention, and will then accompany the individual to a recovery facility.

If you would like to discuss how I can help you and your loved one, please feel free to contact me through this site or call me directly.
